Here at, we like our models to be prepared and have an amazing time whilst being on a photo shoot. Here we list a few tips on what to do while being on a photo shoot.

  1. cust1 Always come prepared and on time

The first impression is always the most important you don’t want to waste the photographer’s time by being late. Studios are often booked on an hourly basis, so being late will cost a lot to the photographer and make his life harder than it should be.

  1. Eat before the photo shoot

Photo shoots can be very long and exhausting. You want to make sure you have enough energy to keep you through the day. It is also okay to bring snacks on the day. Buy or pack up hummus or avocados, or carrots. Something you can snack away, but it’s still healthy and on the go. Try to avoid nuts, they are too heavy to digest and dehydrating.

  1. Keep hydrated

It is important to keep yourself hydrated, so drink a lot of water throughout!! Bring a water bottle and try to avoid sodas. Try to drink before your makeup is done as it could mess it up.

  1. Be adaptable

Some photographers will direct you a lot; some will let you do whatever you want. Make sure you adapt and follow their instructions. Try and do your best to make the photographer happy, he knows what he is doing! However, do not accept to do anything you are not comfortable with.

  1.  Treat people with respect

Everyone is trying to have the best time in order to have a productive shoot. Make sure you always respect every one, there are no under jobs. So be nice and polite, and always have a smile on your face. People will remember you, and a good positive attitude could potentially get you more jobs.

  1. Always bring your business card with you

You never know whom you might meet during the photo shoot. Talk to people; be interested in what they do. If there is a good vibe and you feel connected in any ways, give out your business cards. It is a business about people, it’s word of mouth and everyone talks. So one job goes to the next job; you could get the next job being referred by the photographer, by the hair person, by the makeup person, or by the stylist.
